Mexico – Day 91

Sadly this is our last full day but I’m totally ready to be home!

We left the house at 9am and went straight to the lab to do our Covid tests. We realized that we had forgotten our passports as soon as we arrived there but I had pictures of them on my phone and they accepted them. Our tests were negative. Yay!

We finally went back to the Botanical Gardens. We had brunch first: scrambled eggs for Max, huevos rancheros for Pogo and avocado toast for me. It was all good.

We found the chapel and OMG!, it was worth the price of admission. The interior walls were wallpapered with the same patterns but switching to different colored backgrounds. It was so colorful and…they were full of hummingbirds!! It made me so happy! Just heaven! We spent a lot of time there taking pictures and videos.

We went back to the condo and I spent hours packing and organizing again.

We went to La Isla to say goodbye to Andres then we went to La Dolce Vita for dinner. The beef carpaccio was delicious but we didn’t eat the calamari as it was really chewy. Pogo and I had chicken parmesan and Max had pasta bolognese.

We filled out the car with gas and got some cash to pay for the rest of the car rental.

We sat outside to see our last sunset of this vacation and toasted to a fabulous time in gorgeous Mexico!!
