Nuevo Nayarit Day 77

March 27, 2023

First thing we did was to bring back our borrowed table and chairs to Mario and Josée’s condo, before they started charging us interest on top of their expensive location fees.

They finished packing and we all went to Mr. Cream for breakfast. We then said our goodbyes and even though we will see them again next week when they come to pick up their corvette at our house, we will sure miss them.

We took it easy until it was time to go to PT at 3pm. I met with my therapist and Pogo went to do a small grocery. He met me afterwards and we both met with the doctor. Pogo told him how much he enjoyed working with his therapist Ishmael but suggested that he should encourage him to take English lessons. The doctor agreed since 60% of his patients speak english. He also gave him a great idea about going to the 3 or 4 pickleball clinics during the winter to show players how to stretch before and after a game to prevent injuries. He would also leave his cards in case someone did get hurt. The doctor thought it was a great idea as well.

He did an ultrasound in my hurt knee and said that there was still a bit of inflammation liquid but that it should go away on its own. His son, who happened to be in the office, came in and asked if the ultrasound was of a baby. Haha! Cute! He also did an ultrasound in my elbow and concluded that one tendon was a bit damaged so I got another cortisone shot. He told me only after the shot that I would be hurting when the effect of the Novocain went away. Great.

Pogo got ultrasounds in his knees. He has less pain which is good but the doctor said that he should be resting.

Martin got in touch with me and asked my opinion about doing a religious or secular ceremony for his Mom. I thought she would have wanted something religious. He said that he will need a lot of my advices during the next few days. He also asked me if I wanted to say something during the ceremony. Being a very emotional person, I’m not sure if I could without crying. I told him that I would think about it.

Pogo made seared tuna with our leftovers for dinner. We watched 4 episodes of Emily in Paris.

Max is continuing her tour with her local guide. I think he is really cute!
