Nuevo Nayarit Day 75

Derrick and Deidre packed their bags and we went to La Isla for breakfast before bringing them to the airport. We had a great week and we managed to still do a lot despite Pogo’s bad back problems. I forgot to take a goodbye picture.

We came home at 10:30am and we left 15 minutes later to go to Rincon de Guayabitos with Mario and Josée who wanted to go to Chicken Boy one last time before they go back home on Monday.

We had a fun day. We discovered a little town called Los Ayala. We went back to Vista Guayabitos for a drink and for the amazing views of the beach and town, walked in town for awhile, saw a rooster owning the street, saw a first communion, had our favorite chicken then a gelato.

We got home, and I need to mention that Mario couldn’t park our car straight, talking about having burgers on the beach later on but still full from lunch, we instead brought margaritas to the pool and chatted until way after the sun had set.

Pogo and I watched the latest episode of the Mandalorian.

I love when the kids send me pictures: Shaun of Miss Penny very comfortable on the couch and Max of a bunny mural. They know how to make me smile.
