Derrick went to pickleball at 7:30am. Deidre and I went to the Tuesday market at 8:30am. We ran into Josée and since I wanted a bracelet just like hers, she came with me to the vendor where she bought it so I could show him. Thankfully he had another one hiding in a box so I bought it! I also bought a square tablecloth to bring home. The one I liked was rectangular but 30 minutes later, the vendor had cut it and finished it off so beautifully, I couldn’t tell the difference. Deidre bought a bracelet for Natalie.

Pogo walked to the pickleball courts and we picked both of them up around 10:30am and we went to La Isla for breakfast. Andres was there so we offered him our sympathies and he said his dad was in a better place.

Pogo and I went to PT at 2pm. His therapist worked on his back only. It was my first PT appointment and Jasmine, my therapist, worked on my knees and elbow with ultrasounds, TENS (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) and leg compression massages. She said to put ice on my still swollen knee and said to elevate my legs and move my feet different positions, 3 times a day. Then she sent me by email 10 different exercises for my elbow and 10 different exercises for my knees, 2 series of 10 repetitions each, 3 times a day. What the heck!!! Let’s be realistic, knowing me, it’s probably not going to happen. I mean, let’s start slower please!

We did a little grocery before going home. Derrick and Deidre were enjoying the pool and sunshine. Pogo and I sat on the balcony while I iced my knee. The tide was so low that people in front of our condo had set up a bocce ball court on a perfect spot.

The internet wasn’t working on our computer for whatever reason and it took forever for me to be able to finish yesterday’s blog. I worked on it while Pogo made a beautiful paella for dinner and Deidre made a yummy salad. My contribution was to set the table outside. We saw a big group of people exercising on the beach during the sunset. We played 3 games of Bananagram and let’s just say that people claiming to have won, had a few spelling mistakes…
