Nuevo Nayarit Day 32-33-34

February 10, 11, 12, 2023

It was a lazy morning. I caught up with my blogs then I talked to Martin for an hour. He has a lot on his plate and hopefully I was able to help him a little bit.

We saw 3 whales pretty close to shore that were followed by a boat. By the time Pogo ran to the beach with his drone, they were too far already.

I helped Max with a spreadsheet as she worked all day on her short videos for YouTube. Pogo played his virtual game.

We played pickleball with Mario and Josée then Pogo made some delicious chicken enchiladas.

I talked to Tante Lise and Martin this morning. They had brought Tante Lise to a room last night. She was doing so much better. Unfortunately overnight she got sick and couldn’t sleep. Her lungs are clear, her heart is strong and she is hydrated but her intestines are blocked so she throws up anytime she eats.

Pogo, Max and I had lunch at Sukha’s in Bucerias then spent the afternoon at the condo. We went for dinner at Al Pesquero and had a delicious meal.

Max took the day off on Sunday from working so we spent the day in Puerto Vallarta. We had breakfast at Vitea on the Malecon, walked around the Zona Romantica, went to a liquor store so Max could buy some mezcal then we drove to Las Carmelitas Restaurant/Bar to see the incredible view of PV from there. There were a few chickens and an aggressive turkey in the parking lot. An employee had to used a long stick to keep it away from him as it was trying to attack him. We stopped at Galerias El Triunfo, a store I had been wanting to go to for 6 years. Pogo stayed in the car while Max and I browsed through the 4 floors of unusual things. Out of the blue, we found a donkey candle holders just like the one Max had been served a mezcal at a tiki bar in Playa Del Carmen. She bought it for me and I love it!! We came back at 5pm and went in the pool while Max took a nap. We made chicken tacos and a caprese salad for dinner and watched a little tv. Unfortunately we were not able to watch the Super Bowl.
