I met Pogo at pickleball and we walked to La Isla to have breakfast. By the time we got home, it was cloudy so we just stayed in. Ryan came to say goodbye to us because they were flying home that afternoon. We decided to go to the pool to say goodbye to the rest of the crew leaving. It started raining and it got really windy! What the heck?? It didn’t rain hard or for very long but the day stayed grey.
We went to dinner at a new restaurant that opened 7 months ago, called El Pesquero. I had one of my best dinner so far in Nuevo. The special of the night was lobster linguine and it was delicious. The place was unfortunately empty, with just a few other tables occupied. The owner, Eduardo, came to talk to us. He was quite passionate about life in general. We discussed travel. He loves Sicily and has been there “a million times”. He thinks he will retire there eventually. He proudly showed us the whole restaurant which he built with his own hands! But do they call him Eduardo the builder? NOOOO!!! 🙂 Joking aside, he was really interesting and gave us a few places to visit in Mexico that we had never heard of and that we now really want to go to. We will definitely go back to El Pesquero and will invite our friends to accompany us.
Max sent us a few pictures from seeing Lucha Libres and Pogo sent her a picture of himself with his Lucha Libre mask. El Pogo is all ready to fight the very famous El Santo!
