Nuevo Vallarta, Day 18

January 27, 2023

On our walk to Starbucks this morning, we saw an Indian Event at The Grand Velas Hotel. About 100 people were following a pickup truck with a DJ in the back. The men were all wearing the same tshirts and long red scarves and the ladies had pretty saris, holding colorful umbrellas. They were all dancing and having a good time. We saw them at the front of the hotel so we don’t know if it was for a wedding but probably.

We went next door to La Gaviota to have shrimp tostadas and shrimp tacos. Always so good and affordable. Josée and Mario joined us for a beverage. We met their daughter Sabrina and her boyfriend Dominique who had just arrived from Montreal.

We relaxed for a few hours then played pickleball. We are all improving each time we play so the games are getting really fun. We walked back home, relaxed some more and because we were not that hungry, had some sandwiches for dinner and watch more Emily in Paris.

I’m realizing my blogs have not been that interesting since we arrived in PV. We really haven’t been anywhere or done anything special. I’m not taking as many pictures as I used to. I guess that’s what happen when it’s your sixth year at the same place.

Max went to see a Lucha Libre match last night with her friends.
