We finally went for a morning walk. It had been quite a while and let just say that I was a little slower than normal.
We had brunch at Jude Bistro.
I spent a lot of time lately researching perennials and bushes for our new landscape. I wrote a long email to DiStefano and hopefully they will be able to incorporate most of it. I’m getting excited to see it all coming together.
Max and I went for a mani-pedi at 2pm. It was overdue for both of us but especially for Max as she still had polish on her toenails from Christmas!! Talking about Christmas, she decided to have sparkling green polish on her fingernails. When she sent a picture to her boyfriend Gabriel, he replied with the lyrics of It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…:)
Meanwhile the painters finished painting our staircase at home. They did a good job.
We went to La Isla for dinner to see the Mariachis. They were really good! Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn’t full. Only 6 or 7 tables were taken. I felt bad for them. Max wanted to have a raicilla so Andres (We have been calling him Andreas for years and I just realized it was Andres from his Facebook account…oops) brought the 3 bottles they carry so she could have a tasting. It was just after some guy approached us to do a tasting of his 3 tequilas. Max and I had the coconut shrimp and Pogo had the ribs. When most people had left, Andres brought 4 more bottles of liquor for us to try. All the tasting portions were really small but still a lot of different liquors. We all needed a little tums for the heartburns when we got home.
Max killed a bug in her bathroom and we think it was a cockroach. Time to go home!!!

That’s a lotta dranks

Yes but just enough to wet your tongue. If I had had a full sip of all of them, they would have had to carry me home.
