Sylvie's Travels Home

We all slept in and left the condo at 10:30am. 

We went to Paradise Village so Shaun could return the gate keys to the captain who had loaned him the kayak.  Max and I went with him so we could see the 75ft yacht.  It was an older model that the owner hardly uses.  We visited it quickly and walked back to the car.

We stopped at a lab so Shaun could do his antigen test.  It was negative so he will be able to go home tomorrow 😦 We have friends that got Covid in a PV bar while we were away these past few days so we realized that we have to be extra careful.

We introduced the kids to Mama Nena for brunch and they loved it.  Afterwards we went to show them the crocodiles.  We saw 9 this time and they were a little bit more active so we now know they are real. The road there was just as dusty as before.

We came back home at 1:30pm and Pogo and Shaun took a nap.  Max worked on her Instagram and I continued catching up with my blogs.

Shaun started packing and afterwards we decided to go to the Marival hotel to have a drink on the rooftop. When we arrived they told us that only guests can go to their restaurants and beach club because they are so busy. They own a few more restaurants outside the the hotel so we went to Nicksan and sate outside. Even though it was 4pm, it was already busy.

We sat on the balcony for a while when we came back. We had made a reservation at 7:30 to go to La Isla but Shaun was hungry by 6pm so we left. La Isla was empty when we arrived but it filled up quickly. They were short one waiter so Andreas was very busy so we didn’t get to chat with him. Max and Shaun shared a tacos mixed dish including steak, pork, chicken and chorizo. Pogo had chicken fajitas and I had the chamorro, a pork rib thingy.

The entertainer was a flute player. He was really good but Pogo wasn’t digging him so we left right after dinner.

We just hung out in the living room until it was time to go to bed. It was a relaxing day but also a sad day because Shaun is leaving tomorrow.
