Mexico – Day 61

We were about to go for a walk but decided instead to go to Bucerias for breakfast. On the way there, we noticed that all the primavera trees were in bloom in an explosion of yellow! It felt like it happened overnight.

We went to Los Pericos. We both felt like an American breakfast. Pogo wanted waffles but they were out of it as well as pancakes. We both had eggs benedict. They were fine. A couple had arrived and sat outside at a table for 6. She took her sneakers off as well as her dirty socks, put them on the chair beside her and then put her dirty feet on that chair. Disgusting! Especially when you are trying to eat your breakfast.

We walked around town for awhile, spotted a tiki bar for when the kids come, stopped at the church to watch the Sunday service for a little while, found the location of Vallareal, a little restaurant that had been recommended to us, walked through the stalls and by the beach.

We were planning on going for a drive but Pogo had a little Delhi Belly situation going on or should I say Moctezuma’s Revenge, being in Mexico. All that to say that instead of a drive, we stopped at Walmart for a bathroom break, then decided to do a small grocery and to go home.

We came back around 2:30pm. It seems that as soon as March arrives, the winds become constant and people start enjoying the wind watersports so the bay was still busy with activity.

Pogo had bought the ingredients to make his version of a crispy oriental chicken salad and it was really good. We finished the series of Inventing Anna.
