We went for our typical walk to Starbucks and La Isla for breakfast.

We had heard from Deidre saying that they were trying to switch their flights for tomorrow as Chicago, their layover, was expecting a snowstorm on Wednesday. We had decided to go do the grocery today but before leaving, we double checked with them around noon and they had not been able to make a change yet. We decided to wait until we knew exactly when they would arrive.

I did some laundry then I tried to contact Delta as they had once again changed our return flights. The wait was 3h 15min. Fortunately they offered a call back. I spent the rest of the afternoon reading on the balcony waiting for their call, hoping they might call earlier. They didn’t. They called back only at 6pm. The agent wasn’t able to switch Pogo’s ticket so she transferred me to a different department and I was on hold for an other hour…Arghhh…always the same music playing…double Arghhh…Finally I talked to another agent, and I was able to switch our flights to April 6th instead of the 7th. Let’s just hope they don’t make any more changes!!

Pogo’s ankle was feeling great so he decided to go for a run around 3pm. The tide was really low again today. I looked from afar.

I feel like I wasted a whole afternoon and evening inside the condo waiting for Delta. I literally hung up with them at 7:20pm. Meanwhile, Derrick let us know that he was able to switch their flights and will arrive around 6pm tomorrow night.
