Mexico – Day 25

The sky was perfectly blue and clear of clouds this morning and the forecast is calling for clear skies for the next 10 days!! Woohoo!

We had breakfast at home then Pogo dropped me off at Paradise Village to have a mani-pedi. I actually had scheduled it thinking we were going to a wedding tonight but this morning we decided against it. Graciella had told us that it was only a small crowd and that the venue was asking for vaccine cards from everyone but in the small chance that we caught Covid, it would impact Derrick and Deidre from coming this Wednesday. It was not worth taking the chance. I felt disappointed to miss the opportunity to witness a Mexican wedding but I’m feeling good about our decision.

Pogo picked me up around 1pm and we sat by the pool for awhile. We went next door to La Gaviota for our shrimp tacos but we also added french fries.

From there, we went for a walk on the beach. The tide was the lowest I’ve seen in a long time. Just so enjoyable to walk on. We ran into our friends.

We saw lots of whales today but each time Pogo tried to drone over them, they were nowhere to be found.

My phone was dying so I went up to the condo. I “invited” Pogo to join me so he could make margaritas for us and our friends. We brought them down to enjoy in the pool.

I noticed that weekends bring a lot of locals here at the condos but also at the beach. They mostly show up mid afternoon and stay in the pool or on the beach very late.

Michel and Edward arrived in Florida for their 2 weeks vacation. Can’t wait to see lots of pics! Hint Hint!!
