Mexico – Day 23

We slept in so left for our walk around 10:30am. Some “Karen” rang her bike bell about 10 times before getting close to us. We were out of her way but she still yelled at us: Bike Path!! Pogo yelled back: And Walking Path!! I mean she wasn’t wrong, it is a bike path but everyone walks there as the sidewalks are quite uneven and treacherous. It was just her entitled American attitude that rubbed us the wrong way.

We had a refresher at Starbucks then went inside the mall for brunch as it was almost noon by then. We both had a fruit platter and share a basket of toast. I had a café latte and it cost only $8.50. So much cheaper than La Isla but it won’t stop us from going.

We came back just in time to say goodbye to Daniel and for me to take a shower before my 2pm massage. Talking about good deals, my 1hr massages are costing $17 each.

Max surprised Gabriel with a skydiving session as an early birthday present. They both went but won’t get the pictures for a few days. I saw a vendor on the beach flying a skydiver kite that made me think of them.

We went in the pool and sat on the beach for awhile and had leftovers for dinner.

We had the most incredible sunset tonight! And it lasted forever. What a treat!

  1. Maybe Karen ran her bike into the sun and it set it off on fire and she had so much energy that the sunset lasted twice as long
