Mexico – Day 21

We walked to Starbucks then stopped at the weekly market. The artisans were back as well but impossible to shop with Pogo…. 😦

Our home camera showed us 2 deer walking around the house.

On our way to La Isla, we bought flowers from a little girl called Elizabeth to give Graciella for her birthday. We had a delicious breakfast once again. Graciella gave us the information about her Mom’s wedding this coming Saturday. She invited us to the reception starting around 7pm.

On our return, we stayed home doing laundry, paying bills, and planning some fun activities for when Derrick and Deidre visit as well as the kids. Pogo also droned over whales.

Around 4pm, we went to Bucerias to look into foil boarding lessons and renting bicycles. The place was closed.

We found our way back to the new location of Sukha, a restaurant that used to be on the new side of Bucerias, very close to the kissing bridge. They now have moved to the end of Bucerias. It was not easy to get there as the road was really bad but their new place was bigger and still on the beach. We were early so it wasn’t busy but our waiter said that they are surrounded by condos so they are doing well. I had my favorite there, a Caesar salad in a “bowl of parmesan” with grilled shrimp. Pogo had avocados stuffed with shrimp and hard boiled eggs. Their 2 for 1 margaritas are just as delicious and potent as before. I tried Pogo’s bloody Caesar and the tajin around the rim was so spicy that my lips were burning.

We came home just in time to see a decent sunset.
