Nuevo Nayarit Day 78

Martha and her friend Leti came to clean the condo. We decided to go to Mezzo Mare, the Marival hotel beach club, for breakfast. We had never been for breakfast there but Pogo said they had good reviews and he wanted comfortable chairs as his back was bothering him. I tried el pastor chilaquiles and he had the biggest fried egg sandwich I’ve ever seen. I didn’t really like mine. We tried to pay with our accumulated points from our Marival card but the waiter said we couldn’t. Pogo asked to talk to the manager and she explained that the machine had been broken for awhile and that it just wasn’t possible at this time. He wasn’t a happy camper.

As we walked out of the restaurant, we saw three 4 months old puppies that were there to be adopted. They were the cutest things. I wanted the white one badly.

We walked back home and decided to go to Starbucks to kill more time since they were still cleaning the condo. Pogo decided to go to the one close to La Comer instead of the one near the Tuesday Market, citing that it would be hard to find a parking place but I think it’s because he didn’t want me to convince him to go shopping.

We came back at noon and they were still not finished. They had decided to wash all the windows probably in preparation of the owners coming back for their Easter vacation next week, after our departure. Then another lady came to wash the really dirty glass railing on the balcony. We will definitely not miss all the bird poop on it.

Josée sent me a few pictures of the snow outside their house and they still have so much! At least they had a nice fire going. Thank god we don’t have any snow at our house.

I made a spaghetti sauce for dinner and we watched more Emily in Paris.
