I was able to go back to sleep at 4:30am and woke up totally groggy at 7:30am. Pogo had already left for pickleball. I stayed in bed reading the news, not knowing if I would be able to go to my court time of 10:15am. I was still half asleep when I met Mario downstairs to walk to it. I played until noon. I was glad I went but was exhausted. Pogo was so excited to be able to play for the first time in 2 weeks that he played for 4 hours in a row. We walked back to the condo and I went straight to bed and slept for 30 minutes.
Pogo went to his PT at 3pm and I spent an hour washing all the fruits and veggies we had bought. Not a process I particularly like to do.
It was really windy today and there were a lot of sailboats in the bay.
Shaun came back from NH around 4pm and he had almost 2 feet of snow at his house and had to shovel a path for Penny to go outside. At least it had stopped snowing. I don’t think we got anywhere close to that in South Hero from what I can see from our outside cameras.
We watched the sunset then went for dinner with Mario and Josée to Porto Bello, an fancy Italian restaurant by the Nuevo Nayarit marina. The food was great and we had a really fun evening, as usual when the four of us get together.
