Nuevo Nayarit Day 64

March 14, 2023

I washed the sheets and the dishes from last night before Martha arrived to clean the condo. We drove to the Tuesday market to buy some salad dressing then went to Mr. Cream for breakfast. Pogo loved his waffle but my poached eggs had not been dried out so each bites were watered down.

We drove to the motorcycle place and they were closed again despite their website saying they were opened. Grrr.

We went to a new grocery store called Ley just to check them out and pick up a few last minute things before our guests arrive. It was really well organized with a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, a big selection of liquor and homemade breads and cakes. Not a lot of shelves so probably not the best selection if you need olives, cereals and such.

We stopped at the Guadalajara pharmacy to fill my prescription. The pharmacist noticed that one of the prescription was about the PT my doctor wanted me to do. The girl at the front desk had given me back the wrong prescription.

We came home as Martha was leaving. Mario and Josée who bought a corvette in Florida and will have deliver at our house in South Hero, came to tell us a few more details about the delivery. They were on their way to a little car ride as Josée needed to get out of the condo since she has been stuck there way too long since her eyes surgery.

We found out that Derrick and Deidre’s flight tomorrow, coming to visit us, had just been canceled because of a big snowstorm back home. They will be coming on Friday instead.

Shaun was driving to New Hampshire for work today in that snowstorm and he said it sucked.

Around 3pm we decided to go to a taco place that Pogo wanted to try but as we were sitting in the car, he realized they were opening only at 5pm so we went back upstairs and had sandwiches. The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent on the balcony and watching tv.

We had such a beautiful sunset!

Max arrived in Colombia just before midnight and to her Airbnb around 2am. Since I was awake from midnight till 4am, for no apparent reasons, we chatted for a little while.
