While Marta cleaned the condo, we went to a new restaurant I had spotted out on one of our drive called Hacienda Mamá Nena. It is a family owned restaurant located on a very quiet side street and behind a tall wall, that just celebrated their 3rd anniversary 2 days ago. We talked to the owner for a while and he told us that they cater to locals mostly and that on Sunday, when families gather with their grandparents, they are really busy with sometimes an hour long wait. They are closed on Mondays. They also own 2 other restaurants; one in PV on the Los Muertos beach and the other on Nuevo Vallarta Boulevard called Café Cuates. I loved the ambiance with all the flowers, pottery and the colorful tables and chairs. The food was good but not as good as La Isla but we definitely want to go back for lunch or an early dinner as they close at 7:30pm.
On our return, we sat on the balcony and realized how little energy we had so we decided to stay in. We went down by the pool at 2:15pm to say our goodbyes to Diane and Alain who were flying back to Montreal after their 3 weeks vacation. We had a good time with them and it was definitely nice to get to know them better.
It was really windy and the bay was full of sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing competitions.
We went to Zenizas for dinner, formerly Mr Ribs. It was the same menu and we both had a half rack.
We came back, watched a little TV and I went to bed early to watch the finale of Amazing Race on my Ipad. My team won!

That restaurant set their chairs at empty tables weirdly
