Happy Valentine’s Day!

We left at 9:30am to do some errands. First a stop at Starbucks, then we went to Costco and La Comer. We also went to La Isla Shopping Center for the first time. It is an outdoor shopping mall but much smaller than we thought it would be with lots of empty stores. I bought a dress and we had lunch at Subway. On our way home, the temperature light came on in the car. As we were driving by Gecko, the rental car place, we stopped by to tell them. They immediately gave us another car, same brand but newer. So far, they have given us amazing services. We were also dealing with Griffin the bar builder as well as Vanessa our designer about issues with the bar.

Before we knew it, it was already 3:30pm when we got home. I emptied the groceries and quickly wrote yesterday’s blog as I had been reprimanded by someone near and dear to me who was waiting impatiently to read it….I won’t name the person but let’s call her Sphinx just for fun….Who wouldn’t want to read my blog as soon as possible as our lives are so fascinating! 🙂

We joined our friends for a quick dip in the pool. We had decided to stay home for dinner. We made shrimp cocktail, mango salad, steak, asparagus and garlic bread. We enjoyed a good bottle of wine and finished it off with tiramisu.

Pogo gave me some beautiful hummingbird earrings and pendant. We watched the latest Creatures Great and Small which was totally romantic and perfect to watch on Valentine’s Day.
