Mexico – Day 10

We walked to La Isla for breakfast.  We shared a fruit platter and avocado toasts with poached eggs.  We haven’t had a bad meal there so far.  They now have 2 parrots in a big cage.  When we walked by them, one of them said Hola!

We continued our walk to Starbucks and stopped at Riviera Grill because I noticed their new decorations.  They had mirrors with pompoms, curtains with little Mexican dolls and big jars full of pompoms!  My faith is restored in humanity.

When we arrived at Starbucks, I decided to go to the bathroom in the mall next door.  As I was washing my hands, a lady in a stall started throwing up!  My reaction was quick: sortie côté jardin!

The sky got really cloudy just before sunset.  The sun peaked under the clouds just before setting and was that strange red color.  The shape of it made it look like a hamburger to me.

We went for dinner at Taco Cabana, a new restaurant replacing La Dynamita.  The decor was beautiful but the food was not good unfortunately.  The tuna and mango ceviche wasn’t bad but my marlin taco tasted very fishy and Pogo’s tacos, shrimp, fish and steak were not tasty.  We won’t go back.
