We went to Starbucks. On the way back, we saw 4 painters just sitting on rope harness hanging from the top of the hotel next door, painting the walls. They were swinging from one side to another. Wish I could post a video. Crazy stuff! We went to La Isla for lunch as Gabriella had told us that they were making pizza on Wednesdays.
It wasn’t on the menu or being advertised but she told us that they would make some for us. They had to attach a huge propane tank to the pizza oven. We picked a pastor pizza made with marinated adobo pork, pineapple, onions and fresh cilantro. So so good! The other was margherita which was also really good. As our eyes were bigger than our stomach, we had enough leftovers for dinner.
When we left, we saw 2 enormous iguanas fighting over the food that Graciela had left for them. She said it’s mating season so that’s why they are fighting. She was mad that one of the big iguanas was stopping all the others to come and eat. She has tried to shoo it away but it always comes back. Haha!
We went to Walmart to do another grocery and bought an exercise mat as the one I had left here was nowhere to be found. Maybe I’ll exercise??
We had just finished watching Boba Fett when our friends gave us 30 seconds warning that they were coming over…I was in my pyjamas already but at least I had a robe over.
We had talked about renting a place together later on so Pogo connected his computer to the TV and we showed them a few places we had found on Airbnb. Something to look forward to.
