After breakfast we sat for a few hours reading and napping by the ocean. Mario and Josée had gone to the Tuesday market behind the hospital and unfortunately there was just food and no artisans so we decided not to go. We went next door for lunch to find out they are closed on Tuesdays.. We decided to walk to D, the restaurant at the Marival hotel where we used to go to the gym. They were opening at 1:30pm only and no longer opened for breakfast. We then went inside the hotel to a restaurant called Grass Roots. The setting was beautiful. You have to take a little bridge over the lagoon shaped pool to sit under a canopy by the bar. We noticed today how quiet the beach and the sidewalks were. New measures are now in place because of an increase in Covid cases. Restaurants and hotels will be at 50% capacity and all fiestas and big events like weddings will be canceled amongst other things. We stayed in, had burgers and watched a little TV.
