Being Sunday, we decided to leave early to go to the La Cruz market before it got busy. We first stop at the La Cruz Inn for breakfast.
They didn’t have any vendors in the center of town but still had a few Christmas decorations.
We walked towards the market following the waterfront and were surprised to see no stalls at all on the path. We finally arrived where the fish market is located. They had 8 vendors open with amazing fish and seafood.
We found out that they were still selling food but were across the marina so we walked back to see what they had to offer. They had bread, cheese, juice, etc but we ended up buying mole paste, a few croissants and some hummus and crackers.
I was disappointed not to see any artisans.
We saw one of the Sea Shepherd Ships called Martin Sheen at the marina.
We went for a walk on the beach mid afternoon. We sipped on margaritas made by Mario while watching the sunset.
We invited him and Josée for dinner and made multiple quesadillas: cheese, cheese and caramelized onions, chorizo and also shrimp all enjoyed with guacamole.
